As Content Catalyst and Engagement Instigator, Amy energizes and inspires audiences to connect to the heart of messaging at conferences, award galas, and meetings. She's a soulful communicator, emcee and moderator who ties everything together, driving focus, messages and business outcomes.
Her rich background in communications as a moderator, in-person MC, virtual emcee, corporate presenter, and much more, creates the perfect blend of skills for Amy to holistically integrate messaging, focusing on key takeaways and elevating the audience's experience.
A Purchasing executive with over 30 years Procurement experience with leading organizations in Aerospace, Construction Management, Automotive, Health Care and Higher Education. John began his career at General Electric Aircraft Engines in 1988 and progressed to increasingly higher positions within the private sector at world class corporations like Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Hill-Rom Medical Devices. In 2009 he decided to pursue opportunities outside of corporate and took a position in Higher Education with Xavier University, in Cincinnati, OH. Currently he is the Executive Director of Strategic Sourcing and Accounts Payable. With his extensive background John has vast experience in both strategic and operational aspects of Procurement.
Randall served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for a total of 26 years at Philadelphia University and Loyola University of Maryland. In his role as leader of many service and operational departments, he oversaw strategic fiscal and facilities planning, financial management and operating budget development, endowment fund oversight, purchasing, capital construction, legal and enterprise risk management, human resource policies and benefits, and contract review. He served as the Board Chair of both the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers (EACUBO) and the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO).
Snow is a spend management professional with over 15 years of experience in higher education, having worked with over 50 universities and colleges. Snow has expertise in areas such as procurement assessment, strategic sourcing, cost savings, and change management. She helps organizations and finance leaders improve their spend management and procurement processes to achieve savings and align with the organization's goals. Snow's experience includes implementing eProcurement solutions, payment strategies, centralized purchasing programs, and managing change. She was previously the Director of Procurement Services at Illinois Institute of Technology where she transformed the procurement function.
Meet our Speakers
Bill leads all aspects of sales and business development at Finexio. Prior to leading sales at FInexio, Bill held leadership roles in a range of industries including law, healthcare, technology, management consulting and financial services. Bill is also a former law firm partner and Deputy Chief of Economic and Cyber Crime at the Philadelphia D.A.s Office and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney.
When Bill is not helping customers transform and digitize their AP payments departments, you’ll find him spending time with his family or at the gym.
Dr. Chase Loper currently serves as the assistant vice president of business services at Duquesne University. His team comprises of procurement and payment services; shared services; and facilities management inventory operation. Through a user-centric and inclusive framework, Dr. Loper is responsible for closely evaluating and enhancing university practices and processes in effort to create better efficiencies and better deliver services to stakeholders. Prior to leading the business services team, he was responsible for leading the development of the university’s shared services center. When not in the office, you can find him on a basketball court or chasing a little white ball down a fairway.
Dan has over 8 years of experience working at Unimarket, helping current and potential customers achieve real value with eProcurement. As Head of Operations, Dan oversees the support and account management teams. He also leads the solution consulting team, working to find the right solutions to fit the needs of prospective customers. Prior to joining Unimarket, he comes from a tech background at Apple Computers. Dan's favorite things are live music and hanging out at home with his dog Brody.
Tony Shala is an experienced procurement manager with expertise in eProcurement. He has developed and implemented systems such as Unimarket and SAP/Ariba in several organizations. He has managed large teams and is currently responsible for managing two buyers and providing extensive training. Tony also has strong IT sourcing experience for hardware and software agreements. In his current role at Teachers College, Columbia University, he oversees strategic sourcing, bidding processes, and contract negotiations.
With over 15 years in a variety of industries, Hayley has significant hands-on procurement and accounts payable experience derived from implementing procurement from scratch to managing center-led procurement functions across decentralized, geographically dispersed organizations, and using procurement to drive continuous improvement. In addition to this expertise, Hayley has managed the roll-out of multiple procure-to-pay platforms and so has extensive experience with implementing procurement strategies designed to drive efficiencies, improve the user experience, and increase utilization of eProcurement platforms.
Julie is an Account Manager and Solution Consultant at Unimarket. She works with customers to determine the best product module selections to meet their current and growing requirements while keeping them updated on product enhancements and helping provide support to allow them to do their best work. Julie came to Unimarket after previously serving as the Assistant Director of Procurement and Payment Services at Duquesne University. She brings to her role at Unimarket a wealth of knowledge in the higher education space, as well as experience as a Unimarket customer.
Justin sets the overall strategic direction and manages the development roadmap for Unimarket. He has been with us since our earliest days and overall has more than 20 years’ experience working with clients to design great software solutions. When he's not planning the next great product feature, Justin will be out riding his bike, taking his surfski for a spin, or working on his classic Fiat.
