Unimarket (formerly VendorPanel) Named One of Australia’s Fastest Growing Companies in AFR Fast 100

Unimarket, an award-winning provider of ProcureTech SaaS solutions to business and government, has earned a place on the Australian Financial Review’s ‘Fast 100’ list for 2021.

The ‘Fast 100’ recognises Australia’s fastest growing companies based on their compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over a three-year period. Unimarket achieved a CAGR of 44 per cent from FY19 to FY21, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’re thrilled to be recognised among Australia’s fastest growing companies, and to be included in this prestigious list,” said James Leathem, CEO. “Our track record is one of rapid growth, both organically and – this year – through acquisition.”

After securing A$4.3 million in Series B capital in March this year to accelerate product development and expansion into the US market, Leathem said that growth was not going to stop anytime soon.

“Our innovative solutions have been proven in the Australian market for over a decade. The same opportunity exists in the US, where annual state and local government procurement is worth over US$1.5 trillion.”

This is not the first time Unimarket has been recognised for its strong growth potential. In 2018, it was named by Westpac as one of the top 20 ‘Businesses of Tomorrow’.

In July 2021, Unimarket acquired EBMS Nimblex, a developer of low-code procurement and risk management solutions that are now integrated as part of the Unimarket platform. The acquisition has enabled Unimarket to accelerate its product roadmap and go to market with a modular, enterprise-grade source-to-pay procurement platform.
